Mapping the Research Landscape in Cyprus through the Gender Perspective.
This Project is partially funded by the National Machinery for Women's Rights of the Ministry of Justice and Public Order. The main aim of the Project is to identify the representation of men and women in the main research centres in the academic, public and private sectors in Cyprus both at the base and top of the career ladder in research. It will also seek to highlight the reasons why women are underrepresented in research and the measures and policies that need to be implemented in order to encourage more women to choose a career in research and strengthen the role of women in decicion making bodies in the research area.
